After graduating as a lawyer fifteen years ago, I took a year-long trip to the UK. When I returned to the Galápagos, my life changed completely when a friend asked me to teach her daughter English. I started teaching at home, and as the word spread, I soon found myself teaching a whole group of kids. That’s when I discovered that teaching was my true passion.

I became certified as an English teacher and, later on, as a Spanish teacher for foreign learners. I transformed the bedrooms in my house into classrooms and built a team as more students – both kids and adults – joined lessons.

Today, our team has grown to over 10 members and yes, I still teach because it’s what I enjoy most! Now, I’m more focused on teaching private Spanish lessons and programs and promoting language learning within our community.
